This application will allow you to build a custom project using HellermannTyton's RapidNet line of products. RapidNet is a pre-terminated "plug-and-play" system which does not require on-site termination or certification testing and dramatically reduces installation time - up to 85%. Once you configure your RapidNet system, you can add it to your Bill of Materials.

Product Type

Choose from copper looms, fiber looms or accessories. Accessories options include modular patch panels and MTP Cassette options. Fields below will not be applicable when choosing accessories.

Cable Bundle

Copper options are offered in a 6 bundled cable solution and fiber solutions are offered in 12 or 24-fiber configurations.

Cable Type

Copper is available in two types:

  • Category 6A Shielded
  • Category 6

Multiple fiber types are available:

  • 50/125µm multimode laser optimized
  • 50/125µm multimode
  • 62.5/125µm multimode
  • single mode

Cable Flame Rating

Cable flame rating is either Plenum (CMP) or Riser (CMR) and is dependent on cable type.

Cable Color

Copper cabling is offered in blue and white as noted in drop down choices

Fiber is offered in industry standard colors depending on cable type:

  • 50/125µm multimode laser optimized(OM3 or OM4) - aqua
  • 50/125µm multimode(OM2) - orange
  • 62.5/125µm multimode(OM1) - orange
  • Single mode - yellow

Termination End 1

Copper looms are standard with termination end 1 as a cassette. Fiber looms are standard with end1 as a LC or SC Cassette (MTP is not offered in this series as end1, only a cassette).

Termination End 2

Termination ends are dependent on the choice made for Termination End 1. Copper end 2 options include another cassette, pod, open ended, or a variety of staggers for jacks or RJ45 plugs for UTP.

Fiber termination end 2 options include LC Cassette, SC Cassette, 900µm or 2mm LC or SC breakout, and MTP configurations. If a LC or SC Cassette is chosen, you will have the option of either wired straight through or reversed wiring.

# of Pulling Kit

Pulling kits help protect fiber connectors during cable pulling process. Options are quantities of 0, 1 or 2, and are dependent on termination end choices. Field automatically defaults to zero for cassette to cassette configurations and are only available for fiber choices.
